ALTERAZIONI VIDEO crede nelle potenzialità creative dell’alfabeto e delle lettere che compongono ogni nome. Partecipa così a una tradizione speculativa e mistica per la quale le possibili combinazioni delle lettere all’interno di una parola sono rivelatrici di altri stati dell’essere.
Inoltrandosi in una pratica vecchia come il Cucco, il Talmud, la Cabala, la mistica medioevale, il collettivo di artisti italiani dichiara il proprio interesse per la pittura cinese nella quale è presente la scrittura e l’amore dell’ideogramma: in Cina si dice che in un quadro ci debba essere la parte visiva, la calligrafia e la poesia.

Proceeding into old practices, such as the Talmud, Kabala and medieval mystics the group of Italian artists declares its interest for Chinese painting in which is present the writing and the love for ideograms: In China it is said that in a painting there must be the visual part, the calligraphy and the poetry.
